What is Blue Bot?

The Blue Bot app may be downloaded for free and is made to operate on a variety of devices. The full potential of Blue-Bot in your classroom is unlocked by using the app alongside it. When the software is launched on your mobile, choose your Blue-Bot and start programming! You can choose a Bee-Bot mat from your collection using the app to duplicate what's on screen in real life! There are two modes: challenge mode and explore mode:
Explore Mode
- Logical programming in steps.
- If the button is pressed Blue bot starts to move and instructions are added to the list
- Once you're satisfied with the algorithm, return Blue-Bot to the starting point and push the start button.
- You can choose your instructions for Blue-Bot and Drag them into its algorithm on the left
- If you find a mistake, just pull the instruction you no longer want out of the document.
- The Blue-Bot app gives you the opportunity to add repeats to your program to increase efficiency.
- Turn 45 degrees Blue-Bot may be set up to turn 45 degrees in both directions. How many different shapes can kids draw using Blue-Bot?
Challenge Mode
The kids are given problems to solve with Blue Bot in this mode.
- Obstacles: To make the task more challenging, the Blue-Bot software will erratically place obstacles on the on-screen mat for Blue-Bot to navigate around.
- Less Button: The app will eliminate one or two directional buttons for this challenge. Can Blue Bot still reach its destination with only left and forward.
- Unexpected Directions: You will be given a list of instructions for BlueBot in this challenge, and you must make a prediction about which square Blue-Bot will land in based on those instructions.
Extra Features
To make the Blue-Bots harder to program, you might decide to remove some of the buttons. To make managing several Blue-Bots in a classroom simple, the software allows renaming Blue-Bots. In order to link a command to a Blue-Bot button, kids can videotape themselves speaking the command. Children may hear themselves saying the commands while the algorithm cycles through the program!
Teach with Blue Bot
Logic and sequential thinking can be taught to pupils in Pre-K through second grade using Blue-Bot. Give each pupil a Blue-Bot and let them learn how to use it first. Ask pupils to try to maneuver Blue-Bot around a corner or other straightforward obstruction. Once students are at ease, have them cross an obstacle course you've laid out on the ground with painter's tape or chalk. Accentuate directional movements like those in the left and right, forward and backward, and reverse. In order to compete with one another, students can design their own obstacle courses. Take advantage of the chance to educate students how to "debug" and figure out what went wrong when the Blue-Bot doesn't behave the way a student expects it to. Encourage simple note-taking to record the movements the students have made or the answer to an obstacle course as the students' directions get more sophisticated. As new educational possibilities arise, seize them. Take the chance to explore and quantify differences, for instance, when pupils discover that a Blue-Bot doesn't appear to move as far on one surface as it does on another.

Is Blue Bot good for learning?
The opportunity to learn programming skills with Blue Bot is fantastic for young children.
